Shannon Larkin and Courtney Rovira first met at investment firm in Los Angeles in the mid 1990s and a friendship formed. In 2000 Shannon left to go work for a Venture Capital firm in Santa Monica and brought Courtney with her. Both women left their positions in the Venture Capital world about the same time, wanting to do something different, on their own, and away from the “good old boys” club they had been working in for years. After careful consideration (both women unemployed and on a budget) they decided to make the first ever “Gal Pal Garment Deodorant Remover.” Both Shannon and Courtney saw how useful this product really was.
